Founding story
Built by Monash engineers who saw the gap.
ChargeNextDoor began as a shared idea between four Monash Electrical Engineers, Saad, Eltayeb, Kyle, and Omar. Saad first spotted the EV boom up close while interning at Transurban, and in 2023 Eltayeb saw the rollout challenges firsthand while working on BP's early EV fleet rollout that later grew into BP Pulse. Realising many chargers were going into solar homes with spare clean power, the four of them built ChargeNextDoor to unlock neighbourhood chargers, ease grid pressure, and make EV charging more accessible across Australia.
